Arup’s ESG policy comprises a variety of strategies that contribute meaningfully to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Among its environmental commitments, Arup has formed strategic partnerships with global thought leaders including the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, to innovate and accelerate its actions in this area. Through its advisory services, it has guided projects that initially overlooked ESG aspects to close gaps and implement best practice. In its P3 work in Colombia, the firm verified that they apply the best ESG practices available by identifying gaps between local and international standards and ensuring their compliance.
